Paying a One-Ride fare does not require a pass. When boarding the bus simply deposit the correct cash and/or coins in the farebox to pay a One-Ride fare. Please have exact change because neither drivers nor fareboxes give change. Credit/Debit cards are not accepted on the bus.
If you have a Cherriots Tap Card or Umo Mobility App, tap the card or scan the validation code in the app at the electronic fare reader next to the farebox. If you are utilizing stored value, the One-Ride fare will be deducted from your account.
If you plan to transfer, you will need to pay the One-Ride fare on your next bus or purchase a Day Pass on your first trip of the day. However, if you are using stored value with Umo, your fare will be capped after paying two One-Ride fares in the same day. If you continue to ride the bus that same day, be sure to continue tapping/scanning when you board, but rest assured you aren't going to be charged for the remainder of the day - hello, fare capping!
