Cherriots is a sponsor and will participate in the parade
The Keizer Chamber has changed the name of its annual event to KeizerFEST (formerly Iris Festival), which better captures the weeklong celebration culminating in a parade on May 18.
Cherriots is an event sponsor and will have an entry in the parade, which features a marching band, a flag team, antique vehicles, public service vehicles, high school ROTC, Mayor Cathy Clarke, and dozens of local businesses and community members.
This year’s theme is Flowers, Family & Fun and the featured iris is Lovely Señorita. Cherriots staff volunteer to decorate a District bus using fresh cut flowers from Schreiner’s Iris Gardens.
KeizerFEST begins Saturday, May 11 with a kick-off party inside the event’s main tent at 4100 Cherry Ave.
