The story of a lost purse and a heroic rescue
Our Operations Supervisors saved the day! Here's a note from our Customer Service Manager: "A sweet lady called and wanted Cherriots to know that two of our operations supervisors saw her purse lying in the road while they were out in a van. They pulled over and retrieved it because they were concerned it would get run over or stolen. They opened the purse to ascertain an address for the owner and proceeded to deliver the purse intact to the address they had.
"They knocked on the door and the husband answered. They told him they found the purse and wanted to get it to the owner. It was his wife's and she arrived as they were leaving. She was so grateful that they took the time to rescue her belongings and return them safely to her. Evidently she put her purse on the roof of her car on the way to the grocery store. She wanted us to know how much she appreciated those Cherriots employees' efforts."
We have staff who clean buses to keep riders safe, answer riders' questions so they know when the bus will arrive, and hand out a mask when someone forgets to bring one. We truly are all in this together, and we're going to get through this TOGETHER.
