myStop - Coming April 1!

We’re excited to offer new tools and technologies to improve the rider experience beginning April 1, 2025:

  • Google-based interactive maps that provide real-time bus locations
  • Real-time schedule information and updates
  • Enhanced detour and service alerts with subscriptions
  • SMS text messaging of real-time upcoming departure times for every single stop in our system

It’s never been easier to ride Cherriots.

Seeing is Believing...

Thanks to a live-feed from our buses, you will see the location of Cherriots buses in real-time. This feature aids our dispatch team, but it also helps you know where your bus is, and when it will be arriving at your stop. All available from myStop.

On myStop, when you select a route, any buses currently traveling that route will appear on the route as a bus icon with an arrow indicating the direction of travel. When you select an icon, you'll see the bus number along with its current assigned route, the direction of travel, and the last stop served.

Explore More!

myStop gives riders a better understanding of where they are and where they are going! Riders can switch the map between standard view, satellite view, or street view, to easily find the nearest bus routes and stops. It also includes familiar features like the ability to toggle traffic and terrain on or off for a more customized experience.

By default, the map displays the entire system with all routes visible. However, riders can bookmark their most-used routes or stops, ensuring these are the default view when opening myStop.

Be Choosy

With so many alerts, choose the ones that matter.

Our phones overwhelm us with notifications all day long - most of them are meaningless - but catching your bus is important! With myStop, you can set up reminders and alerts that come directly to your phone via email or text.

The Set Alert feature allows riders to set a custom one-time or recurring alert to notify them in advance of the departure time for a specific bus. Now you won’t have to worry about getting to your stop late and missing the bus!

Don’t want to have to check the website for service alerts affecting your route? With myStop you can subscribe to receive service alerts that will be sent to you as soon as they are published.

Navigating myStop

Routes

The Route menu on the left side of the screen allows riders to select or deselect multiple routes. Route paths, stop locations, and real-time bus locations are displayed for each selected route. More details like streets, street names, and points of interest are displayed as the zoom level increases. Dragging and dropping the Pegman icon (yellow person) to a specific area on the map will bring your zoom to the street level.

Bus Status

Selecting a bus icon opens the vehicle information for that bus and displays the following information:

-Bus number and route name
-Last stop served
-Destination: ending location for that trip
-Direction: inbound or outbound
-Last updated: the time this information was updated
