Intent is to resume normal service on Saturday, February 15
February 13, 2025
Because of hazardous winter weather conditions, Cherriots is suspending all transit service for the remainder of today, Thursday, February 13. The final departures from the Downtown Transit Center (DTC) and Keizer Transit Center (KTC) were at 11:00 a.m.
In addition, Cherriots administrative offices and the Customer Service Lobby closed early. The Customer Service Lobby closed at 11:00 a.m., but phone support continued until 12:00 p.m.
With icy conditions expected to persist through Friday afternoon, Cherriots will not provide any transit service on Friday, February 14. As a result, administrative offices will also be closed, and no staff should report to work.
Cherriots plans to resume normal service levels on Saturday, February 15. However, if conditions change, updates will be provided via Cherriots.org/alerts and on social media. Riders are encouraged to monitor Cherriots communication channels for any further changes.
Safety remains our top priority, and we appreciate the community’s patience and understanding during this winter weather event. Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel.
